A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to commercial surf instruction.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 200, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:
"§200- Commercial surf instruction; area prohibited. Commercial surf instruction shall not be conducted in any ocean waters and adjacent beachfront area beginning at the Diamond Head wall of the Natatorium and continuing in a Diamond Head direction to the ocean waters and adjacent beachfront area makai of the Diamond Head end of Kalakaua avenue, including all ocean waters and adjacent beachfront areas located between the two points."
SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
