A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for the purpose of increasing the number of positions at the department of land and natural resources division of conservation and resources enforcement by fifty per cent, from one hundred twenty-four to one hundred eighty-six positions.
SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of land and natural resources for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
