A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS IN THE TWENTY-EIGHTH REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ , or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2006-2007, for the following projects in the twenty-eighth representative district:
(1) Repair and maintenance around the banyan tree on the grounds adjacent to Aliiolani Hale $
(2) Maintaining the cleanliness and sightlines of the Kamamalu building $
(3) Construction of a swimming pool for McKinley high school

Design $
Construction $
Total $
(4) Cleaning, repair, and maintenance of the state capitol reflective pool $
Total $
SECTION 2. The sum appropriated shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act; provided that the sums appropriated for item (3) shall be expended by the department of education.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
