A BILL FOR AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE thirty-seventh representative DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The director of finance is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of $11,186,600, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for fiscal year 2006-2007, for the following capital improvements in the thirty-seventh representative district:
1. Schools
A. Kanoelani Elementary School
Installation of air conditioning of 7 classrooms in P Building and the administration building.

B. Mililani Uka Elementary School
Installation of air conditioning for a portion of the administration building.

SECTION 2. The appropriations made for the capital improvement projects authorized in this Act, shall not lapse at the end of the fiscal biennium for which the appropriation is made; provided that all appropriations which are unencumbered as of June 30, 2008, shall lapse as of that date.
SECTION 3. The sum appropriated for the capital improvement projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
