Corrects a technical error in the General Appropriations Act of 2005 relating to the transfer of funds from the Tourism Special Fund in Tourism (BED 113) to Economic Planning and Research (BED 130).

SECTION 1. Act 178, Session Laws of Hawaii 2005, section 3, item K. 6., is amended to read as follows:

SECTION 2. Act 178, part III, Session Laws of Hawaii 2005, is amended by adding a new section to read as follows:

"SECTION 4.1. Provided that of the special fund appropriation for the tourism special fund in tourism (BED 113), the sum of $1,327,887 for fiscal year 2005-2006 and the sum of $1,327,887 for fiscal year 2006-2007 shall be transferred to economic planning and research (BED 130); provided further that such transfer shall not be considered an expenditure from the tourism special fund."

SECTION 3. Statutory material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2006.
