A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO BIKEWAYS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The department of transportation shall install a two-way bikepath along the entire length of Queen Kaahumanu highway from Kailua Kona to Kawaihae on the island of Hawaii; provided that the bikepath shall be built at the same time that the highway is expanded.
SECTION 2. The department of transportation shall install a two-way bikepath along the Waimea bypass road on the island of Hawaii.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
