Appropriates $500,000 of TANF funds to the Waipahu Community Association for construction of the Waipahu Festival Market/Business Incubator and Business and Employment Training Center.

A BILL FOR AN ACT

SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the project listed in this Act, is hereby appropriated out of the temporary assistance for needy families funds of the department of human services for fiscal year 2005-2006:

1. To be expended by the department of human services:

A. Waipahu community association.

Total funding $500,000

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated for the respective capital project set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
