A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE THIRD REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2005-2006:
1. To be expended by the department of accounting and general services:

Design and construction for additional parking spaces for staff, parents, and community and relief of traffic congestion.

Demolition of existing T-hangars and construction for new T-hangars.

Design and construction to install and/or upgrade existing guardrails, end terminals, transitions, bridge railing, bridge end posts and crash attenuator, and reconstruct and pave shoulders.

C. Intersections and highways, Hawaii
Design and construction for miscellaneous improvements to existing intersections and highway facilities, including eliminating constrictions, modifying and/or installing traffic signals, constructing turn lanes, acceleration and/or deceleration lanes, and other improvements.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agencies for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2005.
