Enables the board to delegate certain administrative functions to subcommittees. Authorizes the board to not have to meet if no money is in its special fund or no grants are being managed. RELATING TO TRANSIENT ACCOMMODATIONS TAX. Imposes a TAT surcharge on hotels converting to time shares or condominiums in an amount equal to 50% of the average of the previous two years of TAT revenues collected by the hotel. The surcharge tax shall be assessed and levied against the owner of the hotel prior to the conversion. (SD2) |

RELATING TO TRANSIENT ACCOMMODATIONS TAX. Requires the department of taxation to review the forms and process relating to collecting the TAT from vacation rentals and bed and breakfast establishments and requires the department to report the TAT revenues received from these types of establishments.
