The committees will hear comments from members of the South Hawaii community including government officials, law enforcement and community organizations to gather information on the status of legislative appropriations for crystal methamphetamine or "ice" programs and initiatives to determine the impact of programs on the community.

The Legislature supports communities impacted by the ice epidemic, and hopes a continued dialogue can facilitate long-term solutions.
