AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS AND MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A MEDICAL FACILITY IN WEST MAUI.

Authorizes issuance of general obligation bonds and appropriates funds for the planning, development, and construction of a medical facility in West Maui to provide urgent care, emergency room, and long-term care services.

Appropriates funds to Molokai General Hospital for operating costs during fiscal year 2005-2006.

RELATING TO MOLOKAI GENERAL HOSPITAL.

Appropriates funds for capital improvements of the Molokai General Hospital. Provides that funds shall be released as the office of Hawaiian affairs provides funding at $1 for every $2 of the appropriation.

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
