Requires the board of regents of the University of Hawaii to pay a penalty to its employees for late payments of wages.

Prohibits calculation of fringe benefits into UH budget.

Prohibits the State's annual contribution for any employee who elects to be a member of the optional retirement system from exceeding the IRC federal tax limit on annual compensation. Repeals the optional retirement system's sunset date.

RELATING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII.

Requires the University of Hawaii at Manoa to open its offices for the transaction of public business from 9:00 a.m.

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
