SB 440 SD1, HD1 (HSCR1257)	RELATING TO CAMPAIGN SPENDING. Prohibits fundraising on state or county property. Limits contributions of out-of-state residents. Establishes new limits on campaign contributions. Prohibits candidates from contributing campaign funds to charitable and other organizations in the 120 days prior to a primary or general election. Treats unpaid loans as campaign contributions.	JUD, FIN
SB 433 SD2, HD1 (HSCR1166)	RELATING TO ELECTIONS BY MAIL. Requires the Office of Elections to establish a Vote-by-Mail Pilot Program for the 2006 elections in the three representative districts with the lowest voter turnout rate in the last two election cycles. Requires the Chief Election Officer to submit a report on the pilot program to the Legislature prior to the Regular Session of 2007. Appropriates funds for the pilot program.	JUD, FIN
SB 673 SD2, HD1 (HSCR1164)	MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR CLAIMS AGAINST THE STATE, ITS OFFICERS, OR ITS EMPLOYEES. Provides for the authorization and payment of claims against the State for judgments, settlements, and other miscellaneous payments.	JUD, FIN
SB 1864 SD1 (HSCR1161)	MAKING AN EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION OUT OF THE JUDICIARY COMPUTER SYSTEM SPECIAL FUND. Makes an emergency appropriation for the judiciary's JIMS computer project.	JUD, FIN
SB 620 SD1 (HSCR1250)	RELATING TO INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR THE SUPERVISION OF ADULT OFFENDERS. Lists state compact administrator's responsibilities, including the appointment of deputy compact administrators from DPS and the judiciary; mandates that all members of the council are subject to a 4-year term, except the DPS member; requires certain members of the council be appointed. SB 617 SD1 (HSCR1159)	RELATING TO COURT INTERPRETER SERVICES. Creates the court interpreting services revolving fund and exempts the fund from central service expenses and departmental administrative expenses.	JUD, FIN
