RELATING TO THE ENVIRONMENT.

Authorizes the Office of Environmental Quality Control to review an agency's determination whether a proposed action may have a significant effect on the environment if the agency making the determination is also the agency proposing the action. (HB408 HD2)

RELATING TO ENERGY.

Establishes a tax credit for qualified expenditures to convert fuel storage terminals in the State for purposes of importation, storage, and blending of ethanol with gasoline. (HD1)

RELATING TO STANDARDS FOR NET METERED RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS.

Simplifies requirements for interconnecting net metered renewable energy systems. For eligible customer-generator systems of greater than 10 kilowatts requires PUC to adopt interconnection standards and requirements and establish the requirements to be met to be exempt from additional controls, tests, and insurance. Effective July 1, 2099. (HB606 HD1)

RELATING TO NET ENERGY METERING.

Increases the maximum capacity of an "eligible customer-generator" from 50 kilowatts to 500 kilowatts. Changed the billing period for net energy metering from monthly to every 12 months. Allows an eligible customer-generator to be billed monthly upon request. Effective July 1, 2099. (HB1018 HD2)

RELATING TO INVASIVE SPECIES.

Appropriates funds for statewide eradication efforts relating to the coqui frog. (HD1)

RELATING TO GASOLINE.

Makes the provisions of gasoline price regulations contained in section 486H-13, HRS, subject to the Governor's determination whether they should be made operative or subsequently suspended. Effective July 1, 2099. (HB1705 HD1)
