RELATING TO CEMETERIES.

Requires a cemetery authority to file with DCCA a map of cemetery plots, crypts, and niches, and unique identifiers locating the deceased interred therein, to be annually updated. Makes the unique identifier a part of cemetery or funeral authority contract disclosure requirements. Makes cemetery or funeral authority books subject to examination by the DCCA Director as provided by law. Effective July 1, 2099. (HB868 HD2)

RELATING TO MECHANIC'S LIENS.

Grants contractors additional time to file a mechanic's lien if they have previously given the owner a conditional lien release but have not subsequently received full payment. Effective July 1, 2099. (HB1166 HD2)

RELATING TO CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITIES.

Removes ambiguities in the charitable gift annuities law, by among other things, including a specified date for filing of charitable organization annual statements, and providing that mortality tables and discount rates determined by the Insurance Commissioner are to be used to calculate reserves. Effective July 1, 2099 (HB584 HD1)

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
