RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. Authorizes the Director of Human Services to use the federal supply schedule as a benchmark in negotiating and purchasing brand name prescription drugs for prescription drug programs administered by the State. Effective date July 1, 2099. (HB30 HD1) |

RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. Requires quarterly reports from manufacturers of prescription drugs dispensed in the state that disclose the average wholesale price, wholesale acquisition cost, average manufacturer price, and best price for each of the manufacturer's drugs. Effective date July 1, 2099. (HB31 HD2) |

RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUG COST CONTAINMENT AND AFFORDABLE ACCESS. Requires the Director of DHS to establish a Pharmacy Best Practices and Cost Control Program including medicaid and other state public assistance health benefits plans, in which any public and private health plan may participate. Includes a prescription drug preferred list and prior authorization review process. Requires drug manufacturers to disclose economic benefits of $25 or more provided to persons who prescribe, dispense, or purchase prescription drugs. Effective date July 1, 2099. (HB32 HD2) |
