Measure Title: RELATING TO GENERAL ASSISTANCE.
Report Title: General Assistance
Description: Combines physical and mental disabilities for GA disability determinations. If no mental, physical, or combination of disability is determined, requires DHS to issue an initial denial notice to the applicant prior to denial of the claim, and provides applicant at least ten days to obtain additional medical evidence. Requires DHS to give prompt notice of treatment recommendations. Deletes requirement that a person determined to have a physical disability must accept and pursue appropriate medical treatment from a provider of the person's choice. (HB2022 CD1)
