Measure Title: | RELATING TO STATE FUNDS. |
Report Title: | State Funds |
Description: | Repeals the compliance resolution fund. Creates the compliance and regulatory education special fund to be funded by professional and vocational licensing fees and other revenues. Redirects fees for professional and vocational licensing to the compliance and regulatory education special fund. Redirects other compliance resolution fund fees to the general fund. Requires DCCA to return or discount fees if the fees collected in the prior year exceed 110% of the attributable costs to the DCCA. If the fees drop below 90% of the attributable costs to the DCCA, requires the fees to be increased to eliminate the shortfalls. Ensures that all personnel and operating costs of DCCA are paid for by revenues generated by DCCA. Requires the monthly reporting of revenues generated by DCCA. Transfers the unencumbered balance in the compliance resolution fund to the general fund. Appropriates general funds of $4,200,000 to the compliance and regulatory education special fund.
