RELATING TO CAPITAL INVESTMENTS. Creates the Hawaii Private Investment Fund to increase the availability of equity and debt capital. Establishes a tax credit for Hawaii business-research institutes. Changes the refundable research activities tax credit to nonrefundable. Clarifies the existing investment tax credit. Extends the technology infrastructure renovation tax credit and the research activities tax credit to taxable years beginning before January 1, 2011. |
