RELATING TO TAXATION. Establishes a 5% income tax credit for employers that hire members of the national guard. Establishes that the maximum tax credit per national guard/employee shall be $1,000. |

RELATING TO TAXATION. Increases the allowable income tax deduction for national guard members and reservists called up to active duty from $1,750 to $5,000. |

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES. Establishes that if a public employee's active military pay is less than the public employee's nonmilitary pay, then the public employer shall pay the public employee the difference while on active military duty; provided that the active military duty deployment extends beyond 30 days. |
