RELATING TO THE HEALTH BENEFITS TRUST FUND.

Prohibits trustees of the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund board from serving on any other board during the trustee's term of office.

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES.

Eliminates licensure as a performance requirement.

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES.

Clarifies that when a civil service employee is released from a new position for inefficiency during the probationary period, that employee may be returned to a vacant comparable position, as determined by the employer, or the employee's former position as currently provided.

RELATING TO PUBLIC EMPLOYEES.

Allows an employee hired through departmental internal recruitment to be subsequently appointed to the permanent position.

RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Exempts retired DOE teachers holding a teaching license from any prerequisite coursework that the department requires of other substitute teachers. (HB2645 HD1)

HB 2740

RELATING TO NOTIFICATION OF EMPLOYMENT CHANGES.

Extends from sixty to ninety days the period by which employers must notify employees and the director of labor and industrial relations of its intention to close, partially close, or relocate. Requires employers to provide written notification of the discontinuance, termination, or reduction of housing or housing assistance to employees and the director of labor and industrial relations.
