RELATING TO MENTAL HEALTH.

Allows the Department of Health (DOH) to expand its capacity to obtain verifiable information regarding the criminal history of potential employees and contract providers to both mental health divisions. Requires DOH to establish and operate a community-based mental health system. (SB1362 HD1)

RELATING TO PRIVACY.

Amends definition of "record" to include digital recordings for purposes of privacy violations; includes use of any device for recordings that constitute privacy violations; and exempts communication service providers and remote storage service from criminal liability arising under this Act.
