RELATING TO CRIMINAL TRESPASS.

Defines criminal trespass to include knowingly entering or remaining on residential property abutting public recreational property after a reasonable request to leave by the owner or lawful occupant of the property; makes criminal trespass in the second degree applicable to public housing projects administered by the HCDCH. RELATING TO APPELLATE JURISDICTION.

Authorizes immediate appeals from certain orders regarding injunctions and from denials of motions to dismiss based upon sovereign or absolute or qualified immunity. (HB2380 HD1)

RELATING TO BAIL JUMPING.

Changes the offense of bail jumping in the first and second degree to require that a person knowingly fails to appear, instead of an intentional failure to appear.

Gives family court and circuit court concurrent jurisdiction over cases of aggravated harassment by stalking.

Amends the law defining continuous sexual assault of a minor to require that the jury unanimously agrees as to which 3 acts constitute the offense, even if they cannot agree on how many acts occurred overall. (HB2789 HD1)

RELATING TO THE SOVEREIGN IMMUNITY OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.

Specifies that all administratively attached boards and commissions are arms of the State of Hawaii and entitled to claim sovereign immunity to the same extent as the State itself.
