The purpose of this decision making meeting is to insert substantive provisions into the following short form bills. A public hearing will be scheduled at a later date, at which public testimony will be accepted.:

RELATING TO ELECTIONS. Proposed SD1: Allows the campaign spending commission and the office of elections to communicate directly with the legislature and the governor without the approval of the department head; to make all personnel decisions without the approval of the department head; and purchase equipment without the approval of the department head. |

RELATING TO THE JUDICIARY. Proposed SD1: Attaches the office of elections, the campaign spending commission, and the elections appointment and review panel to the judiciary. |
