RELATING TO THE ECONOMIC VALUE OF ENTERTAINMENT CELEBRITY IDENTITIES.

Creates a right of publicity law to allow recording artists, TV personalities, and other media celebrities to control the use of their identity for commercial uses during their life and after their death. Effective date of July 1, 2020. (SD1)

RELATING TO CONSIGNMENT OF ART.

Establishes the rights and duties of artists and art dealers under an agreement for the consignment of fine art.

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal. At the Chair's discretion, the time allotted for individual oral testimony may be limited.
