RELATING TO HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE MEDIUM EDUCATION.

Establishes a Hawaiian medium education program.

RELATING TO TUITION WAIVERS.

Provides that University of Hawaii students of Hawaiian ancestry be awarded partial to full tuition waivers, subject to admissions requirements and maintenance of satisfactory grade levels.

Persons wishing to testify should submit 50 copies of their testimony to the committee clerk, Room 213, State Capitol, 24 hours prior to the hearing. When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
