A BILL FOR AN ACT

 

RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE NINETEENTH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2004-2005.

1. To be expended by the Department of Transportation:

A. Waialae Avenue near 21st Avenue, Oahu

Plans, design and construction of landscaping

and irrigation in unlandscaped area between

sidewalk and street on makai side of

Waialae Avenue.

Total Funding 60,000

2. To be expended by the Department of Accounting and General Services:

A. Kalani High School, Oahu

Plans, design and construction to air

condition the administration/library/computer

room building.

Plans, design and construction to

construct a cinder track.

the following 19th district schools, as needed:

Kaimuki Middle; King Liholiho; Queen Lydia

3. To be expended by the University of Hawaii:

A. Kapiolani Community College, Oahu

Plans, design and construction of a

parking structure.

Total Funding 3,000,000

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2004.
