Measure Title: RELATING TO FAMILY LEAVE.
Report Title: Family Leave
Description: Applies the Family Leave Law to the State, any of its political subdivisions, any instrumentality of the State or its political subdivisions. Requires an employer who provides sick leave for employees to permit employees to use up to 10 days of accrued and available sick leave for family leave purposes unless a collective bargaining agreement authorizes the use of more. Clarifies that an employer is not required to diminish an employee's accrued and available sick leave below the amount required pursuant to Section 392-41, HRS. (HB389 HD2)
