RELATING TO COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT – Provides that the edge of vegetation shall not be considered in determining the shoreline when the edge of vegetation was created or extended by plantings done by human intervention.

RELATING TO THE DIAMOND HEAD STATE MONUMENT – Creates the Diamond Head state monument special fund. Authorizes the issuance of $2.5 million for the planning, design, and construction of a Diamond Head state monument interpretive center.

RELATING TO IMPLEMENTATION OF A FIXED RAIL TRANSIT SYSTEM – Requires DOT, in conjunction with both the Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City and County of Honolulu, to develop an action plan for implementation of a fixed rail transit system on Oahu.

PROPOSED HD 1: – Authorizes a 35% increase in boating moorage fees for non-residents.

HB 1299 RELATING TO THE OFFICE OF HAWAIIAN AFFAIRS – Clarifies the lands comprising, WLH, FIN

and the revenues derived from the public land trust under the State Constitution.

HB 295 RELATING TO THE PUBLIC LAND TRUST – Facilitates the establishment of a WLH, FIN

comprehensive information system for inventorying and maintaining information

about the lands of the public land trust; creates the Public Land Trust Inventory

Special Fund; appropriates funds.

HB 1291 RELATING TO THE WAIAHOLE-WAIKANE VALLEYS – Reconveys 10 parcels WLH, FIN

of land in Waiahole-Waikane valleys that were transferred from DLNR to HFDC

back to DLNR.

HB 1677 RELATING TO KULEANA LANDS – Prohibits the filing of an action for partition WLH, JUD

where the property is kuleana land, party that would be filing the action owns less

than 51%, and the court may order a sale of the kuleana land.

HB 526 RELATING TO HOUSE OCCUPATIONS WITHIN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICTS WLH, JUD

– Authorizes counties to permit home occupations in agriculture districts without

requiring a special permit; defines "home occupation".

HCR 21 ACKNOWLEDGING THE ILLEGAL OVERTHROW OF THE WLH, JUD

HB 1335, RELATING TO TUITION WAIVERS – Requires all students of Hawaiian descent at the WLH, FIN

HD1 University of Hawaii to receive tuition waivers.
