The Committee will be conducting a town meeting to hear the concerns from Maui residents as they relate to state government. Residents are encouraged to take this opportunity to express their concerns about public education, state highways, healthcare, the environment, or any other state-related matter.
To provide equal speaking time for all participants the Chair may impose a 3-minute limit for each speaker.
Persons wishing to speak are asked to provide 25 copies of their comments in writing at the meeting. The Committee will also accept written comments from those unable to attend via fax at 665-1729 or e-mail at
senbaker@capitol.hawaii.gov.If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services to participate in the meeting process (i.e., sign language interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for the disabled) please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
A folder labeled "Public Folder" containing the written comments of those participating will be available for shared use by members of the public.
