• Internet2 and Hawaii's role in this consortium of 200 universities working in partnership with industry and government to develop and deploy advanced network applications and technologies;
• UH Statewide Network upgrade and how UH provides interactive video and information access to all 10 campuses and 5 education centers on 6 islands;
• Student Information System, a completely new integrated system-wide information system that will serve all ten campuses of the University system;
• Manoa Wireless Network, which gives students and faculty the freedom to access the network from anywhere on campus that provides wireless service;
• Maui High Performance Computing Center and the University's assumption of management of this national resource under the largest single contract UH has competed for and won;
• eProcurement at UH and the rollout of online Internet bidding integrated with the use of the University Purchasing (credit) card and the new paperless requisition and purchasing system; and
• Distance and distributed learning at UH and ongoing planning to integrate these activities deeper into the fabric of the institution.
