RELATING TO DRIVERS EDUCATION. Requires the legislature to include the drivers education program of the DOE as a separate line item in its General and Supplemental Appropriations Acts for executive branch agencies. Appropriates funds to provide each high school with 1.00 FTE drivers education instructor position for every 750 students. |

RELATING TO THE MANAGEMENT OF DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FACILITIES. Establishes a school support division and a general support division within the DAGS. Transfers all school-related functions within the central services division and the public works division to the school support division and consolidates remaining functions within the general support division. Requires determination of the feasibility of further consolidation of facilities management functions. |
