RELATING TO SCHOOL ASSESSMENT LIAISONS. Appropriates funds for an additional 20.00 FTE school assessment liaison (SAL) positions for the DOE. Requires the DOE to submit a report to the legislature concerning the effectiveness of SALs in helping schools to meet the adequate yearly progress benchmarks required by the "No Child Left Behind Act of 2001". |

Requires the DOE to: provide students with textbooks, workbooks, equipment, apparatus, and other supplies; and provide each principal with $ per teacher to reimburse teachers' out-of-pocket expenses for supplies, necessary for students to perform the required school work and master the curriculum.
