The purpose of this informational briefing is to provide an overview of the potential for the state's economy as it relates to the film industry. A panel composed of film industry professionals and arts organizations will speak on the economic impacts of Hawaii-based film production and Film Festivals as economic drivers on Hawaii's economy.
Panelists will include:

Barry Rivers – Executive Director, Maui Film Festival
Edgy Lee – Independent Producer of Waikiki: In the Wake of Dreams
Susan Killeen – Executive Director, Hawaii Consortium for the Arts
