This is an Electronic Town Meeting with call-in capability. A group of small business owners from Oahu will present concerns and ideas to committee members and viewers.
The topic will be: "What can the legislature do to help the small business community?" This meeting will be televised by PAR/Legislative Broadcast for viewing on 'Olelo and interested viewers can watch the proceedings and dial the number on the screen to ask questions directly to small business representatives and to committee members.
There will be four groups, one each from the Honolulu area, Windward Oahu, Leeward Oahu and Central Oahu, and each group will be given approximately 15 minutes to speak and 15 minutes for questions and answers. Questions from callers will be forwarded during this period.
If you require special assistance or auxiliary aids or services to participate in the public hearing process (i.e., sign language interpreter, wheelchair accessibility, or parking designated for the disabled) please contact the committee clerk 24 hours prior to the hearing so arrangements can be made.
