The purpose of this informational briefing is to provide an overview of the State's economy as it pertains to the film industry. Hawaii's Film Commissioners and co-directors of the proposed UH Film School will share their vision of the types of opportunities that must be taken so Hawaii can capitalize on them in a post-September 11th climate.

Donne Dawson, Hawaii State Film Commissioner

Although no testimony will be accepted for this briefing, there will be time for questions and answers between committee members and panel participants. The briefing will be televised by PAR/Legislative Broadcast for viewing on 'Olelo.
