RELATING TO TOWING.

Requires commercial tow trucks to be registered and to display distinguishing license plates and decals. Provides that the director of finance shall establish a schedule of tow truck registration fees. Provides that noncompliance with registration requirements prohibits the tow operator to collect charges for a tow or as a condition to release a towed vehicle.

RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE FRANCHISES.

Protects against unfair termination of motor vehicle franchise agreements; protects against a franchisor requiring a franchisee to order unwanted vehicles; prevents discriminatory practices against motor vehicle franchisees by manufacturers and distributors; effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)
