BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the Twenty-Second Legislature of the State of Hawaii, Regular Session of 2003, that the President be and is hereby authorized and empowered as the President deems necessary to (1) expend such sum or sums from the funds appropriated for the legislative and other expenses of the Twenty-Second Legislature, Regular Session of 2003; (2) contract, hire, or employ such personnel and assistance to meet the work of the Senate after the session and to determine the period of employment for each; and (3) do or cause to be done such other duties, all for the purposes of completing the work of the Twenty-Second Legislature, Regular Session of 2003, subsequent to the adjournment thereof, including the carrying out of any official legislative business in the interim between the 2003 and 2004 session, up to and including January 21, 2004.
