Description: Requires all new public school buildings designated by the State or counties as hurricane shelters to be built in accordance with criteria adopted by the adjutant general/director of civil defense. Requires the adjutant general/director of civil defense to adopt criteria to regulate the construction of all new public school buildings designated as hurricane shelters. Makes appropriation for hurricane shelters. (SD1)
