The Senate Republicans will hold a press conference Monday, March 25, 2002 at 10 A.M. in the Senate Minority Caucus Room (chamber level of the State Capitol) to discuss the following issues:

• Remedies to flaws in the current budget proposal regarding funding of vacant positions
• Raiding of the Hawaii Hurricane Relief Fund as a means of balancing the state budget
• Calling for the implementation of the State Auditor's recommendations as a money saving option for the State of Hawaii
