RELATING TO DRIVER LICENSE RENEWAL BY MAIL. Allows for the renewal of a driver's license by mail, regardless of residency. Allows an applicant who has not applied for renewal of a driver's license within 90 days after the license has expired to be treated as an applicant for reactivation under 286-107.5, HRS. Allows a driver's license to be renewed on the sixth birthday after issuance. |

RELATING TO DRIVER'S LICENSE INSTRUCTION PERMIT. Allows the examiner of drivers to waive the 90-day waiting period for the driver's license examination if a new driver's license instruction permit has been issued within thirty days of the expiration date of the current permit. |
