RELATING TO THE INCREASE OF THE AGE OF CONSENT FROM FOURTEEN TO EIGHTEEN.

This Act seeks to increase the age of consent from the current age of fourteen to eighteen.

RELATING TO SEXUAL ASSAULT.

Provides that minor cannot legally consent to having sex with an adult who is 5 years or more older than the minor and the actor is not legally married to the minor.

RELATING TO THE INCREASE OF THE AGE OF CONSENT FROM FOURTEEN TO sixTEEN.

This Act seeks to increase the age of consent from the current age of fourteen to sixteen. Includes a provision that the actor must be at least 4 years older than the victim in order to be charged with first degree and third degree sexual assault.

Requires the CSEA Title IV-D application form to be completed and submitted to the CSEA no later than the date on which an order for custody is entered.
