RELATING TO MEDICAL ASSISTANCE RECOVERY.

Expands the scope of the notice requirements to require that all parties make reasonable inquiry as to whether a claimant has received or is receiving medical assistance, and give timely written notice of any claim or action to the Department. (SAY (BR))

RELATING TO DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES FOR TIME SHARE PLANS.

Gives greater latitude regarding time share disclosure provisions to require that time share promotional literature and other printed or written material disclose that the product or activity involves time share. Gives the director of commerce and consumer affairs discretion to prescribe time share disclosure by rule. (HB23 HD2) (HIRAKI, AHU ISA, CHANG, TAKAI)

RELATING TO CRIMINAL PENALTIES.

Provides for criminal penalties for abandoning hazardous waste and used oil, and increases some violations regarding the transportation, treatment, storage, disposal, and documentation of hazardous waste and used oil from a misdemeanor to a felony. "Abandon" defined. (HB662 HD2) (SAY (BR))

RELATING TO PENALTIES FOR THE STATEWIDE TRAIL AND ACCESS PROGRAM.

Establishes administrative and criminal penalties for violations of statutory provisions or rules relating to the statewide trails and access program. (HB691 HD1) (SAY (BR))

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
