REQUESTING SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT. (MATSUURA)

Encourages participation in the Bottom Line 2001 Conference, particularly by the Chief investment officer, administrator, and trustees of the State Employees Retirement System, to attend the summit and to apply the principles of SRI in their investment practices and decisions, and encourages other investment counselors and money managers to also apply SRI to their investment portfolios.

REQUESTING THE CREATION OF A COORDINATING Committee TO OVERSEE THE CARE OF MEDICALLY fragile children. (MATSUURA)

Requests establishment of a coordinating committee to ensure that the care of medically fragile children is properly coordinated thus providing maximum benefits from the services received.

Requests the Hawaii Congressional delegation to coordinate efforts to seek this additional funding.
