Allows the housing and community development corporation of Hawaii to establish permanent resident advisory board or boards comprised of residents who are directly assisted by the corporation under the federal public housing and section 8 tenant-based assistance programs. (SD1)

Eliminates HCDCH's duty to ensure that an independent compliance audit of each shelter provider be performed once every biennium. Requires providers to submit annual financial audits to HCDCH. (SD1)

RELATING TO THE RENTAL HOUSING TRUST FUND.

Authorizes the issuance of $30,000,000 in revenue bonds to be deposited into the Rental Housing Trust Fund and to appropriate funds to carry out the purposes of the RHTF. (SD1)

RELATING TO INFORMATION ON THE NATURAL PARENTS OF THE ADOPTED MINOR CHILD.

Requires courts to order the natural parents of the child to complete a medical information form pursuant to section 578-14.5, HRS, and if the parents fail to comply with this order, the filing requirement of the medical information with the family court is waived. (SD1)

RELATING TO MEDICAL ASSISTANCE RECOVERY.

Expands the scope of the notice requirements to require that all parties make reasonable inquiry as to whether a claimant has received or is receiving medical assistance, and give timely written notice of any claim or action to the Department.

Requires that public housing tenants be evicted through the judicial process. Retains tenant grievance procedure, but eliminates termination hearing and administrative appeal. (SD2)
