RELATING TO DISPOSITION OF VESSELS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES.

Assists the Department in avoiding advertising and other administrative costs associated with holding a public auction to dispose of abandoned and derelict vessels, and unauthorized vessels impounded, that are valued at less than $5,000.

Prohibits any person from intentionally introducing an alien aquatic organism into the state without the prior written approval of DLNR. Broadens DLNR's authority to prevent the intentional and unintentional introduction of alien aquatic species into Hawaii's ecosystems.

Requires, from 7/1/01 to 6/30/02, a portion of all transient accommodations tax revenues collected by the department of taxation to be deposited into the state parks special fund and used for the purposes of the special fund.
