RELATING TO SCHOOL PERSONNEL. Repeals the requirement that principals and vice-principals have served as teachers for a period of not less than five years. Requires principals and vice-principals to have appropriate school-level experience as determined by the department of education (DOE). Authorizes the DOE, on a case-by-case basis, to waive the certification requirements and school-level experience for vice-principal candidates with appropriate administrative experience. |
