RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Specifies that the licensing of private, trade, vocational or technical schools is a self sufficient function within the Department of Education. Delineates exception to licensure, and establishes a Tuition Recovery Fund.

RELATING TO LONG-TERM CARE BENEFITS.

Extends long term care insurance for public sector employees to an employee's children and the employee's brothers and sisters as well as their spouses.

Adds an option to the net worth requirements of mutual benefit societies and health maintenance organizations by providing another net worth component that requires a minimum net worth of three times the average of monthly net claims paid during the past calendar year be maintained by affected societies and organizations.

When faxing, please indicate to whom the testimony is being submitted, the date and time of the hearing, and the required number of copies needed for submittal.
