RELATING TO CANCER. Establishes a breast and cervical cancer treatment program to assist individuals who are diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer by the Hawaii breast and cervical cancer control program, but who are not eligible for federally-funded medicaid coverage as provided by the Breast and Cervical Cancer Prevention and Treatment Act of 2000. Sets Medicaid payments within limits of appropriations at a level that more faily compensates providers, bringing payments closer to a level that covers the actual costs of quality care offered by providers.
