Your Committee on Economic Development and Technology, to which was referred S.B. No. 909 entitled:

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to appropriate funds to create a marketing coordinator position for the Stadium Authority.

Your Committee received testimony in favor of this measure from the Stadium Authority.

Your Committee finds that the position created by this measure will enhance the marketing and promotions efforts of the Stadium Authority. By funding this position through an appropriation, the Stadium Authority has more flexibility in adjusting the scope of the work to accurately reflect the stadium's scheduled events and accountability through annual contract reviews.

Your Committee has amended this measure by appropriating $1 for the purposes of this measure.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Economic Development and Technology that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of S.B. No. 909, as amended herein, and recommends that it pass Second Reading in the form attached hereto as S.B. No. 909, S.D. 1, and be referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.
